Kissing Dummies

Janelle has been doing it for years. I know that Joash and Tash have been doing it recently. I saw them. Even I got into the dummy kissing. It must have been the weekend for it.

I renewed my level 2 first aid in Marysville. Allow me to summarise:
  • Call an ambulance if there is a serious medical emergency
  • CPR. Tilt head back, give 2 breaths into lungs followed by 30 compressions to the chest aiming for 100 per minute.
  • For everything else, the bigger the wound, the bigger the bandage (and don't push down on any bones that stick out).
I should probably mention that Joash and Tash were my company for the weekend. They did the course with me. So that explains most of the opening sentences. Surviving a weekend at ESA while hanging out with two quality people and running on less-than-usual sleep... it wasn't quite enough for me to break my caffeine ban... but I was tempted.

Warren and Simon came up on Saturday night and we went shooting. That was good fun. Old mate Tash really got into it as well. She was so enthusiastic that she fell asleep in the back of the 4WD.

And so there was another highly amusing blog entry in pauls blog! hehe, cant believe tash fell asleep! I'm glad you had a good weekend! Hmm... though i find it hard to imagine, good old gentle paul out there shooting innocent animals...:P how did you cope with shooting? where u as enthusiastic as tash? hehe.

Warren never lets me have a turn of the good gun anyway. I had a few shots but mostly I just did the spotlight thing which was good fun. You actually get to hit the target with the light. It's a lot more difficult to do that with bullets.

We saw some deer but we didn't have a chance, they're too quick.

I had a really good weekend... and some interesting conversations.
