A Day Worth Living

Sometimes a day is really worth living... not because anything particularly marvellous happens... maybe because it wasn't completely routine... or maybe just because the sun returned to Melbourne today.

I spent the day hanging out with my 9 year old cousin Ash, who gave up a day off from school to entertain me. I rode over and got him at about 9.30 this morning and we spent the day riding around a couple of parks with a stopover for lunch at a cafe where I've set up a wireless network. We had a great day.

After that, I shot into the city for a geeky work-related user group meeting which was thoroughly worthwhile. I got a bunch of useful information out of it. brain.exe /commit
I'm quite happy with that one.

And the best part... I have tomorrow off!
