Decaf Paul: Update

Never fear, I haven’t had a relapse.  I would, however, like to expose the unethical behaviour of my unfortunate little sister Janelle and show her up for the cold-hearted, underhanded wench that she truly is.

You see, last night, innocent and happy as could be, I braved the elements to drive out on the Tullamarine Freeway in peak hour to return home for a nice dinner with my beloved family.  Unbeknown to me, my evil younger sibling was hatching a sinister plot to ruin my campaign against caffeine.

While I was sitting quietly on the couch talking to my dear old Dad, my sister walks over and hands me a nice fresh glass of coke.  This is not an uncommon occurrence in our household, so I could have actually messed up big time.  However, the situation held one slight difference.  You see, Janelle is incredibly lazy and selfish.  As such, the very suggestion of her doing something nice for me, of her own free will, is entirely absurd… and I was on to her straight away.

I think she should be ashamed of herself.

  3. Excuse me, but that is a great misrepresentation of the event that took place. I was, in fact, pouring myself a glass of coke and upon opening the can I decided to use the remaining to pour an extra glass for my “darling” brother as he had made a trip out to visit the family. As I made my way into the lounge I got halfway and realised that indeed he wouldn’t be able to drink it. I then, yes admittedly, thought it would be funny if I could get him to “slip up”. I therefore admit to trying to foil his caffeine detox but I object to the accusation that I am selfish and lazy when my initial intention was admirable.
