The Biggest Loser/Winner
Yep. This is just a small procrastination break from essays to congratulate Adro from The Biggest Loser for winning the competition. I've been watching the show on and off for quite a while and for some reason, which is mildly unusual for me and TV, got interested enough to follow it to the final episode last night.
The one thing I have to say that I took away from watching the weight loss efforts of the contestants over however long the show has been going, was that if you have a great personality, it will shine through no matter how much you weigh. Conversely, I guess that also means that it doesn't matter how successful you are at maintaining a coveted body image - if your determination to be a person of good character doesn't surpass your motivation to look good and feel healthy, then you'll always be a big loser.
Adro, for what it's worth from my observations through the contrived medium of television, you seem to have it worked out. Kristie and Fiona as well. And even the other bloke who's name escapes me... even though I didn't want him to win.

I must respond to this and say that I feel Fiona was unfairly portrayed in AJ's comment "the girl who ate her way to the final". I'm not saying that she should have won, but I don't think you lose 30% of your body weight by stuffing yourself. Also, I didn't want Adro to win.
well said Paul.
I like the song
