IT Tips: Not falling for stupid things #1

If someone sends you an email along the lines of the following:

Hey it is Andy the director of MSN, Tim Buiski, sorry for the 
  but MSN is closing the system down because too many 
  people are taking up all the names, we only have 578 
  left, if you would like to close  account, then do not 
 this message out, if   would like to keep your account, 
 send this message to  on your contact list. This is no 
 we are really  down the servers. Send it, thanks, Tim 
 WHO EVER  NOT SEND THIS MESSAGE, YOUR ACCOUNT WILL BE 
 AND WILL  $10.00 A MONTH TO USE, SEND THIS TO EVERYONE ON 
 MSN

you might want to ignore it. If you spend 5 seconds reading the first sentence it is pretty clear that it's a complete waste of time. They should teach spam-avoidance in schools or something.
